Upcoming Workshops

DRIED FLOWER WREATH WORKSHOPS

Date: Saturdays, October 18th (19th if inclement weather) or November 1st (2nd if inclement weather)

Time: 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Description: Join Sarah Lutte of Lazy Acres Farm, for an afternoon in the greenhouse designing and making your own beautiful dried flower wreath using materials grown here on the farm.

The workshop will be held in the heated greenhouse, choosing among dozens of varieties of dried flowers and greens all grown or foraged at Lazy Acres. Sarah will lead us through a demonstration of how to turn these marvelous materials into a one-of-a-kind seasonal wreath for your home.

Cost: $100 including and all materials. Workshops are BYO beer and wine.

Space is limited and we need at least 6 participants to hold the class. All experience levels welcome.  Best for ages 12+.  Please note we will watch the weather and utilize the back up date should it be excessively windy, rainy or snowy on the day of the event.   All event registrations are non-refundable.

EVERGREEN WREATH WORKSHOPS

Date: Saturdays, November 22nd (Nov 23rd if inclement weather) or December 6th (7th if inclement weather)

Time: 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Description: Come get in the holiday spirit on the farm! Join Sarah Lutte of Lazy Acres Farm for an afternoon in the greenhouse designing and making your own beautiful evergreen wreath to ring in the season.

The group will gather in the heated greenhouse, surrounded by bough after bough of seasonal greens. After choosing your own special greens, Sarah will guide everyone through the basics of making an evergreen wreath. To make your wreath even more special, Sarah will provide hand-selected special ‘tidbits’ from around the farm to add character and whimsy. The group will finish the wreaths off with a simple and elegant burlap ribbon.

Cost: $100 including and all materials.  Workshops are BYO beer and wine.
